Working in historical textile crafts can be a very lonely affair. So why not get together and see what all the others are doing?
The second European Textile Forum will take place at the ArcheoParc Val Senales in South Tyrol, Italy, 6. - 12. September 2010.
With the European Textile Forum, we want to give all the craftspeople working with historical textile techniques a place and opportunity to meet with each other. Come and share your experience and your passion! Bring your projects, patterns, drafts and of course your problems; sit down and work on your piece or wander around and exchange techniques, tips and tricks - and make new acquaintances from different European backgrounds and traditions.
This year, we have a programme full of learning possibilities, with workshop opportunities in the afternoon in addition to the evening lectures. For local visitors, there are two workshops open to the public (registration required), the rest of the workshops is for Forum participants only.
